Blackpool morning --
soft sand goes all soggy
whooshing wind and waves

a family from Wales
screaming on the log flume

old ladies' hair
pink like candyfloss
blue and yellow green

a baby on the grass
munching messy chips

trams creak
and horses clatter,
the smell of dung on the path

riding a motor bike
right along a tight rope

man in suit
at grand piano
rises from the ground

pictures flash up in the night
as we drive away
