The Artist

John Carley is an internationally published poet. A specialist in Japanese verse-forms, his work has appeared in newspapers, magazines and academic journals in Britain, the United States, and Japan - in both English and Japanese translation.

Sometime househusband and father of two, John lives in Rossendale in Lancashire where he divides his time between literary translation, leading the creation of linked verse and mentoring young people and adults with learning difficulties.

The Package

Linked verse sessions require a minimum of three participants. Linked verse works particularly well with mixed media and lends itself to both aural arrangements and dance. The document you are reading is an example of the author's experience in the construction of multimedia presentations based upon poetry created in the classroom.

Artist led packages may include electronic publishing or typesetting for in-house display and printing.
